Today I dropped off my first bills as an AZ senator. They address rape kit notifications, rights for pregnant workers, insurance coverage for breast cancer screenings, and rights for victims of domestic violence. Most have bipartisan support and I'm optimistic they'll be heard.

I was disappointed to not have the opportunity to vote on SB1161 and SB1163. We need meaningful reform to address the affordable housing crisis in Arizona. We were given a watered down version of the bills to vote on with no time to consult with our cities or other stakeholders.
