My brother is honing his graphic design skills. He loves esports and is playing around with styles for teams he follows and would work for. I want the “joke about the things you want” meme to be real here. Get this boy a job, he’s good.

I'm in the most delightful period of reading on governance, organizational structure, self-management, and how reality differs from political/economic theory. I'm in the tangle figuring out where I want to do work. Anyone else pivoting governance systems? I want to talk to you.

Upon further research bitcoin had near feudal levels of wealth distribution. And layers built on top with redistribution mechanisms can’t really influence the original protocol. Who is this freedom actually made for? (srs q

ELI5 - earnest question to all the bitcoin freedom people: we are seeing increasing wealth inequality in many developed nations and this is a force which tends to accelerate. why doesn’t bitcoin fall into the same trap or even accelerate it? no counterweights to power afaict

I'm interested in the collective psychology and organizational research behind pivoting large systems. Dovetails in with some recent explorations of building government mechanics and building civic capacity. The tech approach is insufficient. cc @m_atoms @Malcolm_Ocean

The Unaccountability Machine is so far a beautiful exploration and naming of an effect I haven't been able to explain. Why can't we change things? Well, we've made a system of policies and algorithms where no human steers. And here's how it works... anyone else reading this?

If you're thinking about it, sign up for a call with one of the facilitators. It's exploratory and low pressure (and a lot of fun, they're great people to talk to and play games with) https://t.co/H3dMC0JyDm

Plus you get connected with a community of others who are excited about exploring their own life in connection and expression. I now live with four friends I deepened with through Sleepawake.

The facilitators are really incredible. They've done so much of their own work and are deeply perceptive and so welcoming. Just internalizing some of their embodiment made a huge difference in my capacity for wonder and love.

It's not like therapy, it's like a warm blanket of safety and capacity and connection that extends out into the rest of your life afterwards.

Sleepawake is the best foundation of complete human emotional relational wellbeing I can imagine. I deeply know that every feeling I have presents information about what I want and where to go in life. This impacts my life profoundly every. single. day.
We run retreats for young adults to heal relational hurts and patterns in group settings — things that are rarely fully addressed through 1:1 therapy or meditation alone. Applications are open until 1/31 to join us for our next retreat: Feb 21 - March 2 in Santa Cruz, CA

I know the internet says it isn't possible, but I want to hear your investigations into developing perfect pitch (or weird mental bootstraps that serve well in its place) Anyone trained, psychedelic-ed or frameworked their way into this sense?

I continue to learn from these facilitators. It’s good stuff.
bay area emotional health event fyi! the org I did a monthlong immersion with has a weekend workshop in SF, Oct 26-27 I had some serious attachment trauma & pain and they fixed >50% of it. I wouldn't do everything exactly like they do, but it was overall so helpful. link below
