The reason they all went under or pivoted (like gitcoin) was because none of them were better than actual employment. No one good at their job would elect to do gig work over a paying job. If crypto pivoted to embrace employment, society would much prefer crypto.
What happened to all the DAO/gig-focused job boards? Feels like all of them.are inactive. Am I missing a new spot where people actually find web3 gigs these days?.

Because recognition > recall . LLMs will change UIs, and many platforms will capture apps. But UIs will remain because the LLM platform that will win, will allow apps to be built on their platform, with a GUI to help users discover and implement the value of that app.
Eric Schmidt says traditional user interfaces are going to go away. The WIMP model (windows, icons, menus, pull-downs) was built 50 years ago. In the age of agents, UI becomes ephemeral. Generated on demand, shaped by intent, not layout.

More broadly, the EVM as an open source, interoperable backend has huge potential. I have designed systems with esoteric backends - IoT systems, satellite Internet on airplane backend systems. There are 0 network effects for devs in these industries.

This is a rant/desperate plea for the digital art space. The buyers experience for new entrants is awful. There is no way to buy simple baskets of art to gain exposure to make it easy to start. No one knows how to enter the space. No one makes it easy. I get asked this every.
