I’m 6 credit hours short of a masters degree in Medieval Studies.
There’s as much dignity in attending school to study folklore, mythology or the Middle Ages as there is in studying computer science or math. A world in which only the hard sciences are celebrated is not a world I wish to live in. The humanities give joy and meaning to life.

Writing for a day job while I'm (re)writing a novel is not helpful. In fact, it's exactly the opposite. I tell ya what tho -- contending with poor editing suggestions on the day job makes me appreciate the good editing I've encountered in the fiction world.

Did anyone else dream about Graham Greene last night? He told me to to stop writing poetry about boys. I don’t write poetry, and if I did, it wouldn’t be about boys. I looked and saw I was holding a paper with my handwriting that appeared to be a poem about boys. I don’t think

I don't feel old, but I do feel like restaurants are too loud now & their menus/receipts are too hard to read in dim lighting, that movie dialogue is too low in the mix to be heard, that touchscreens are a bad interface for cars and motion sensor controls don't work for anything,
