I’ve got a list of new books that I want to read; however, I keep stumbling across older ones that are grabbing my attention. I’ll never read all of these books before I die (as the list is growing by the day).

My daughter recommended this (again, I’m late to the scene). It was such a fab read, I cried a fair bit, but that’s the sign of a good emotional book (in my opinion). What was the last book you read that made you shed a tear?.

What is it with people destroying things that aren’t theirs? I thought about getting a newer car, but it’s not worth it. Between a neighbour’s dog peeing on mine (ruining the paint) & some idiot keying it, I’ve realised I’m not allowed to have nice things in the area I live.

Ah yes, the writing community, once a space for support, now a masterclass in ego, bitterness, and backstabbing. Nothing like watching insecure writers tear each other down to feel better about themselves. Real creative energy. Truly iconic. 🙃.

I needed to rant with my previous post about unwanted opinions. Got more: “This is why I never share my WIP 🙃”.Right, because mentioning “dark horror with demons” is basically handing over the entire manuscript. My bad. Hope the genre reveal didn’t ruin your day. 🤷🏻♀️😂.

I just love when people offer unsolicited critiques of my new book, especially when it’s not finished and they haven’t read a single word. I merely mentioned it’s a dark, horror story with demons, and suddenly they’re literary experts. Incredible.
