Devastating— “I’m afraid for my parents to leave the house. They treat us like dogs because of the color of our skin. I shouldn’t be scared, I should be focusing on school.” A 16yo American living in fear of the Trump regime’s ICE goons terrorizing brown people pleads for help.

Sad news for another international player. Now knowing the higher occurrence of neurological outcomes in people who experience head trauma, what steps can be taken to take care of kids going out to play today? @IrishRugby @Munsterrugby

Marc Weisskopf does research to help veterans. ALS is the fatal neurological disease with no known cause or cure: --> his research “is not political in any way. The questions we’re addressing are not liberal or conservative. It doesn’t matter what side of the political spectrum

Blown away/highly amused by the phenomenally bad nutrition advice in the happy pears cookbook. No meat/dairy/eggs/nuts/oil 🙈😂🤔

A gentle reminder from @CDCgov
Diarrhea and swimming don’t mix. If you are sick with diarrhea, stay out of your backyard pool. It only takes one person having diarrhea in the water to contaminate the whole pool. https://t.co/OOlcrb9t6L

Before the year comes to a close, I hope you take some time for yourself. I hope you take some time to focus on what you love and what you love about yourself. I hope you think about what you love about the work you do. I hope you think about what you love doing in your free time

Big, big shout-out to everyone spending international women's day juggling work and childcare because of the decision to hold a constitutional referendum concerning roles and family on a school-day, knowing schools are used as polling stations. 🙏

10 years! prob the most collaborative paper I have worked on, but all down to Deirdre that we got into NEJM. Nice frame ...
Fun find in the basement: Happy 10y anniversary to my first big press piece covering a paper I wrote as a postdoc. It even deserved a snazzy CVS frame 😍 (Kind of unbelievable obesity as a cause of poor health and early mortality was still up for debate only a decade ago.)
