Today the @FineGael family is in mourning. We are utterly bereft at the death of our friend, Cllr John Naughten. To John’s wife Breda, daughters Emma, Leah and Orlaith, mother, Mary, siblings Marian, Aine, Denis, Seamus, Liam Óg, Joseph and Dermot, I am so sorry for your loss.

Earlier today, I was delighted to join the Lord Mayor, Cllr James Geoghegan; Jim O’Callaghan TD; Cllr Rory Hogan and other public representatives at the unveiling a plaque honouring Maureen O’Hara, the ‘Queen of Technicolor’, who was born on Beechwood Avenue in Ranelagh in 1920.
