The snapback will inevitably push Tehran closer to Moscow out of necessity, regardless of their underlying tensions. If Iran needs advanced fighter jets, missiles or an upgrade of its air defense systems.. @EldarMamedov4 #Iran #China #US

China wants to conquer the United States? What? Where's the evidence for this ridiculous idea?
China wants to conquer the United States but is willing to do so incrementally, over centuries if necessary. @SenTedCruz is right, “China poses the single greatest geopolitical threat to the United States for the next hundred years.”

Exactly. The EU's policy is one of profound cynicism. Not only would they support it, they would do so enthusiastically if it was sold as a move against Russia. What's another little ethnic cleansing for a "geopolitical Europe"?
@koctylaeppu @CesareBarberis If anything, Europe's material support for Israel's genocide (never mind silence whenever Israel mentioned ethnic cleansing) illustrates that they would let Georgia get away with it or support it. Especially if it was under a strongly pro-EU government.

A “democrat” who once celebrated the shelling of a minority region. Given the recent ethnic cleansing in Karabakh, are the fears of Ossetians about the Georgian opposition not entirely rational? A deeply underreported dimension that deserves far more scrutiny.
Apparently, on October 22, Putin appointed a new special representative for "demarcation and delimitation" of "borders Georgia, Abkhazia, and South Ossetia." There's a belief in certain democratic experts in Georgia that eventually the goal of the Georgian Dream Russian proxy

While current Western leaders retreat into a "democracy vs. autocracy" binary, former Italian PM Massimo D'Alema demonstrates strategic realism. He acknowledges the fundamental shift the establishment ignores: the end of Western hegemony. https://t.co/Ii5ZZCmGcm

Europe's new political fusion: domestic progressivism married to neocon foreign policy. European liberal-left now champions a "geopolitical Europe" — a values-based crusade against authoritarianism, wrapped in EU flag colors. The liberal hawk has found a new home.
Défense européenne : enfin une avancée majeure notre souveraineté et notre sécurité ! Depuis des mois, je travaille sur le Programme européen pour l’industrie de défense (EDIP) qui est la première pierre d’une défense réellement européenne... 🧶⤵️

The Macronites’ “vision" for 2027: debating if France will elect a gay president. It’s a settled matter: Paris had a gay mayor 20 years ago. This isn't progress—it's primitive identity politics from failed centrists. A leader's sexuality is irrelevant. Policies are what matter.

Regime change in Venezuela would bring heightened risks of violence and destabilisation for the region. Our statement on why the Trump administration must proceed with outmost care.
NEW STATEMENT | Beware the Slide Toward Regime Change in Venezuela Donald Trump’s deployment of military assets appears to be part of a plan to depose President Nicolás Maduro. The U.S. should be wary of the potential fallout should it succeed. https://t.co/X7dByKREZJ

This is a homecoming. Neoconservatism was born from liberal hawks who believed in using force to spread their vision of "democracy." Raphael Glucksmann is the epitome of this in Europe today: a "progressive" neocon championing a missionary, interventionist foreign policy.
Congratulations to @placepublique_, the newest member of the PES family! Looking forward to working together for a stronger, more progressive Europe. #PESCongress25 #ProgressiveMobilisation

The important question to ask about yesterday’s failure by the EU to agree the sequestration of Russian assets for a loan to Ukraine is why did the EU member states not accept Bart De Wever’s demand for full risk-sharing? This was a totally reasonable request since Belgium, as

The Iran snapback was intended to pressure a single nation. Instead, it has successfully split the very framework of international law in two, writes @EldarMamedov4

RU DFM Ryabkov declares Iran sanctions snapback "annulled." The UNSC is broken. The West's move splintered international law into two competing realities. Now, Moscow pledges deeper military cooperation with Tehran. My latest for @RStatecraft

Pashinyan is full of surprises. What's his next masterstroke for peace? A speaking tour for axe-murderer Ramil Safarov on the virtues of conflict resolution, perhaps?
