Imagine what could be done when bioregions can trade ecosystem service improvements between one another. A carbon credit in one exchanged for a watershed credit in another, exchanged for a biodiversity credit elsewhere in the chain.
Learn to see nation states as watersheds and you will be able to glimpse the future when they no longer exist.
