Now that everyone can get out and enjoy Dorset, we want visitors and locals to #staysafe , so we're asking people to be respectful of our communities. PLEASE don't bring a disposable BBQ to an open area. The impact of recent devastating wildfires in Dorset continues to be felt.

Our highways team working on the Fossil Forest access project has teamed up with the @RoyalMarines in #Lulworth to get a special delivery by air. 🚁 📦 Two large fossilised pieces of wood have been safely delivered to site today by helicopter! 👏

Some of our key workers, including care workers and enforcement officers, are being verbally abused whilst they keep critical services going. This abuse is #Unacceptable . Our Chief Exec, Matt Prosser, tells us more #COVID19 #BeKind

Wow! All our country parks and some of our green spaces have been granted #greenflagaward status. This means they are recognised as the best of their kind in the world! We couldn’t be happier 🌿🌼💚 @DurlstonCP @moorsvalley
