I'd like to pay tribute to the Heads and Governors who have never given up on the vision for the school despite the many set-backs, and thank my fellow Dorset MPs who have supported my campaign, especially @HattonLloyd, who has been instrumental in helping to lobby Ministers.

It was my great pleasure to personally inform the Headmaster of the good news. Dorset Studio School provides a vital educational service to pupils from across Dorset, and the new facilities this money will deliver will mean they can do even more for the children in their care.

I am delighted that after months of campaigning and lobbying the Department for Education has finally confirmed to me that funding will be released for the rebuild of Dorset Studio School.

If you'll forgive me a little humble brag. According to @Poli_Monitor I'm currently the 4th most active of the 335 new MP's elected in 2024.

Parliament looking resplendent last night

Today the Government announced a 1 year extension to the Adoption and Special Guardianship Support Fund. Sadly this is only as temporary reprieve for parents and guardians, and the children concerned. This afternoon I raised the case of Jean and her adoptive son.

This morning I asked the Government to release any legal advice it has received in relation to the famine in Gaza. Sadly the Solicitor General refused to do so.
