Yeah because it’s rape culture. It actually doesn’t matter why a woman says no to sex. No is a full on sentence and because she doesn’t want to, is a full on reason. The responses to a man being denied sex, is to help him get better at coercion and rape.
society treats a man’s desire for sex like an emergency. all he has to say is “she denied me sex” and suddenly there’s panic, advice, even pressure. no one stops to ask why she doesn’t want to or can’t, because his desire always seems to matter more.
