@dobetterdnvr claims that it’s permissible to post identifying videos of people to the internet without their consent because there is no reasonable expectation of privacy in public spaces. Ok then.

Read this powerful statement from one of the women doxxed by the Denver Post. The Post weaponized public records requests to harass and intimidate, prioritizing a biased narrative over facts. I’m deeply sorry for the harm this article has caused the women named. Please keep.

Props for publishing this even after the @dobetterdnvr crowd tried to preemptively squash the story with claims of “doxxing.” If posting non-consensual videos of vulnerable people on the internet is legal, so too is the publishing of public records requests.
