Oh, and a discharge clinic for short term/limited follow up for patients with no family doctor or who just need something like a follow up ultrasound read. Seriously. This would make our department move so much more smoothly.

Things which would help my emergency department see more people:. - admitted pts moving out of the ED.- massive increase in LTC beds & home care staff.- increased publicly funded mental health resources.- accessible, high quality primary care. ED flow isn’t mostly an ED problem.

Teared up watching this show. The Hip’s music is the soundtrack of my entire generation’s growing up. I have a family member who is under the care of the same specialist Gord had. Palliative with a rare glioma. Probably be a lot harder to watch that show again, but I will.

Using up the last of my tomato sauce from last year and looking forward to this year’s. My neighbour gave me tons of tomatoes last fall but this year I’m growing my own Roma tomatoes for sauce. Can’t wait.

Was just walking back to my car but had 15min to kill and was lured into a consignment shop where I fell in love with a dress I will absolutely not buy. Way too cheap to spend that much on a piece of clothing. I’m sure it’ll find a good home.
