It has been 3 years since I left my first job out of fellowship (realized that we had different values/goals) to start my own practice. There have been ups and downs, but it is worth it to have my autonomy and work with people I trust. (1/3).

Would love to see the methodology used by an independent analyst defining "valid" and how many of these are approved without the physician having the fight for it.

Interesting choice by @EliLillyandCo to go with a full page ad telling people to be skeptical of medications. I know it is in reference to compounded tirzepatide, but it will be interpreted by many as questioning all medications. #MedTwitter #MedEd #GITwitter #Livertwitter

We talk a lot about adenoma detection rate. On what % of screening colonoscopies do you find clinically significant polyps (if missed might be cancer in 10 years)?. I think almost all sub-5 mm & most 5-10 mm probably wouldn’t. #GITwitter @ginorthshore @GI_Pearls @morrisonc36.

I visited one in Brickell a year ago and I let them explain the product without mentioning that I was a practicing physician. It seemed like a product a bunch of MBA students came up with over a weekend.

The people at Epic probably think this is some kind of flex, but it is a perfect encapsulation of how poorly designed and cluttered their EMR is. It's designed by people who don't have a basic understanding of functionality.
