Well done to @KemiBadenoch! An exciting new chapter. And well done to @RobertJenrick for his excellent communications over the last few months. The Conservatives now have a spearhead with which to take the fight to a Labour that wobbles and wobbles and wobbles every week in

Uncollected #rubbish has become a blight on the streets of #Wandsworth over the last year. #Labour #Council are failing here and haven't explained how!

Today is a good away day for the blues in Birmingham. But I'm hoping for a home win too for the Tractor Boys against Aston Villa today.

What a great day out at the #Bermondsey Street event. We talked to hundreds of people and loads of people signing our petition and passionate to make a difference.

An important intervention in #Wandsworth #Council, Councillor Lynsey Hedges speaking up for #women feeling unsafe on our streets in #Balham and #Battersea. This has been an increasing concern in the last year and a half and deserves and needs attention and action by the council!
Speaking up for #Balham and #ClaphamSouth residents at Wandsworth Council’s Health committee tonight regarding crime petitions submitted. Over the past 2 years there has been an increase in anti-social behaviour linked to rough sleeping and women feeling unsafe.

Labour are cutting the Winter Fuel Payments - taking £300 from each pensioner. Sign this petition to register your dismay.

Labour have changed course on Winter Fuel, but it's vital we keep the pressure up so they don't change their mind again

A 4 day week will hurt #business and hurt those employees working in shift pattern #professions like mine. If you thought the #NHS struggled before, just wait until half its employees are only working 4 days a week.

The BMA is failing to represent #doctors and has overreached on the #Cass review. See my article in the i Newspaper here:

#Starmers #government is already in question. Ignore pulling #winterfuel, strikes and #migration. On top #business leaders are confused by Starmer's work-life plans; and first there was Sue Gray and now Louise Tinsley. Starmers government is turning back on its promises and

As someone who spends time in today's #university ecosystem I have seen how people aren't free to ask questions in modern universities for fear of small numbers of highly vocal people. We should all be very troubled by the government's actions on the #freespeech act.

#Starmer is stammering through the first months of PMship. No answer for the #boats. Giving in to #strikes and immediately bringing on more. He can't even back #Stormshadow #Ukraine because the US hasn't replied - despite them saying its not up to them!

Great to be out in #Balham and #ClaphamSouth today sharing mine and @CllrDanHamilton’s annual report. Balham is such a great neighbourhood with a variety of amenities, nearby transport links and surrounded by green spaces.

Astonishing to see #WinterFuelAllowance for the elderly scrapped by #Labour order to pay off high earning #train staff that have enjoyed repeated wage increases over many years, without even a fight. And all with other #unions threatening further #strikes.

Strong economic data for the second quarter of the year, exceeding institutional predictions again, underlines the good health that the Conservatives left the economy in relative to many across the world post-Covid. This is a Conservative legacy.

Seb Coe gets it. Nicola Adams gets it. Barry McGuigan, Daley Thompson, Sharron Davies, Martina Navratilova get it…
"If you don't do that, then no woman will ever win another sporting event." Lord Coe told @stevescott_itv sport needs to ‘preserve the female category’. He was speaking hours before Imane Khelif, the boxer accused of failing a gender eligibility test, won Olympic gold.
