I think, without hyperbole, the dumbest fucking defence of any rubbished film is “Well, if you go in expecting Citizen Kane/The Godfather/Oppenheimer (now, apparently) then…” I actually went in expecting Jeanne Dielman, 23 Commerce Quay, 1080 Brussels. Because me clever.

Dear Wicked fans, I’m warning you that the Rotten Tomatoes score for Wicked For Good is going to be lower than the first film. I urge all of you to not to worry about it and don’t attack the critics who didn’t like it. Your opinion is just as valid as theirs so just enjoy

I felt the air rushing out of the tires in WICKED: FOR GOOD. A wild flailing with none of the uncomplicated energy of the first. Should have been the last 40 minutes of one film.
