I’d like to thank my Liberal colleagues for cooperating with the NDP to make this excellent public health improvement possible. For historic accuracy, it’s important note that dental care was a key demand of the NDP in the CASA.
At 7:08 a.m. yesterday morning, the first claim in the history of the Canadian Dental Care Plan🦷🪥 was made in Newfoundland. Since then, several thousand more Canadians have also been able to receive covered care.
This is a historic moment for our country.
