Combined, my mom & I (now both widows) were married 111 yrs. Each married on June 10th - 1950 & 1978, respectively. 3-fold cord (111) is not easily broken! Eccl. 4:12. God blessed our relationships b/c the 3rd cord, God, was our lifeline. #111- 3CordStrong

At the intersection of International Women’s Day & Black Hx Month I have to lift up my nearly 96 yo mom. It is on her shoulders I stand & at whose feet I still sit! She’s mothered, modeled & mentored! Here’s to you mom & all the other outstanding women!
