Update: Stephen Kinnock has signed off on the transcript. The official report of the Lords Select Committee, published today, now contains a false statement by a government minister:
Did Stephen Kinnock give false evidence today? Asked if people with unmet needs might receive AS, he said: “The conclusion of the [Equality Impact Assessment] is that those nine protected characteristics do receive adequate protection.” @SKinnock what page of the EQIA is that?

New: The Telegraph has seen letters, going back five years, where BBC Sport chiefs were warned repeatedly by own staff about running celebratory ‘puff pieces’ on biological males in female sport – with next to no balancing coverage on the women affected

Funny old world. Helen Webberley is rightly being slated for this manifestly delusional post. A few years ago, she could be invited to comment as an expert by the BBC, whilst saying exactly the same thing.

Have never bought the glib "all sides think the BBC is biased" as a defence that it isn't. Totally possible that one side is completely right, and the other is full of oversensitive, madly ideological zealots – just the sort of people programme-makers would be scared of

Had a rant on Rod Liddle's show about the Rainbow Stalinists on the BBC LGBT section, and the continued failure to get a grip on that situation.
“It’s Stalinist” The investigation into the BBC changing ‘pregnant people’ to ‘women’ “makes a mockery of this supposedly national broadcaster” says Kathleen Stock. @DocStockk | #TimesRadio

The ministerial code is crystal clear: ministers must correct false information “at the earliest opportunity” and under some circumstances it is a resigning offence. Can @SKinnock explain why he invented a statement in the assisted suicide Equality Impact Assessment?

The entire series of Anatomy of a Cancellation has been released earlier than trailed. Presumably because of the pubic interest in the case. You can listen to it now. Make up your own mind. https://t.co/9UbM8krGe5

Someone should actually make a transphobic dog whistle, the viral marketing campaign for one has been going on for nearly ten years.
‘Saying I behaved aggressively when I was asking questions calmly feels like a transphobic dog whistle’ We don’t mourn Teen Vogue, or enjoy the need to see transphobia everywhere, but do hope that contractual employer obligations to journalists were met.

I review the essential Pornocracy by @jo_bartosch and @robjessel16. So many women stay with partners addled by porn; the humiliation in this is total. But shame is a powerful mechanism and scares us out of rejecting what we find dangerous or repulsive. SOD THAT!
‘Hentai addicts, feet guys and furries are smirking themselves into solitude.’ Women don’t want to date porn addicts, writes @poppy_sowerby👇 https://t.co/7kby6jBlQW
