I warble & scribble about nature for a living. My book 'One Thousand Shades of Green' came out on February 2nd...

Out today...! #onethousandshadesofgreen is my attempt to help bring out your inner botanist. Wild plants are much more than bed & breakfast to our fauna, & desperately need more champions. So why not take a moment out to enjoy the flowers at your feet?.. You won't regret it๐ฑ๐

Do catch this if you have a moment. I report on storm petrels on Shetland, while with a stellar panel, we also put the world to rights about sensational seabirds ๐
Birders, we have an absolute treat for you @BBCRadio4 - @DilgerTV @helen_fwilson and Adam Nicolson on the cult of the puffin, how to out-think a greedy gull and the perfect summer night of Shetland bird-watching.

What a privilege this morning to see both Chatham Taiko (Magenta Petrel) and Chatham Island Petrel in the hand. Many thanks to Dave Boyle and team for their incredible work conserving and increasing the pop of both species, the former now stands at 50+ pairs globally! #Seabirds

Pigeons. Do you love them or hate them? Iโll be chatting to Dr Annie Morrad on my show today (without pigeons on my head!) The brilliant @DilgerTV will offer his view too. 10am-2pm on BBC Radio Lincolnshire https://t.co/rohzOgY0VZ

Join Sean Dunderdale on BBC Radio Lincolnshire.
When they said do a story about a lady who feeds pigeons. I didnโt think Iโd have so much fun! Thanks to the fantastic Dr Annie Morrad, who got absolutely filthy with the pigeons of Lincoln, to demonstrate her art for us. @looknorthBBC

Dear wildlife film-makers, does anyone have any high quality water vole footage theyโve shot which I can use for a conservation film Iโm making for a conservation NGO in Somerset? I can pay something for the footage, which will be used in talks and on YouTube. Thanks!

@DilgerTV Good evening my friend. Any ideas what type of bird this is? Heโs taken to using our bird feeder as a drive through and is nibbling gold finches, heโs a creature of habit as he comes every dinner time, for an hour or two. I hope you are well. Many thanks.
