Bruh, this is a power Spider-Man has in the comics that I’ve been wanting to, but not expecting to, see on the big screen for a long time. This made my jaw drop in the theater and I will not accept slander of any kind on it.
This should have been the tone for the Guardians of the Galaxy movies.
Peter sounds serious and smart, unlike in the MCU where he was portrayed as dumb and stupid.
The MCU movies are like theme park rides, not actual cinema.
It’s called a character flaw. Thanos took so much from Thor, Thor wanted to see Thanos suffer before he killed him. That ended up being his undoing. Character flaws don’t make scenes bad, they make scenes good
This isn't controversial, this actually happened.
Wonder Woman Wasn't Taking any chances while Thor's decision resulted in half of every population being snapped away.
I love this shot, but this wasn’t really foreshadowing. 42 has always been associated with Miles. It’s the number on the ball that won him a place at Visions. To me, the whole Earth 42 thing felt like something they thought of after making the first one
The people who claim these movies have no sauce clearly didn’t actually watch them, cause this is some of the coolest action in any Spider-Man movie, and it’s in the one they claim is the worst ever
As much as I love the Flash tv show, the worst thing it did in its later seasons is start to overuse the lighting abilities. Like, throwing lighting in season 2 was cool cause he had to wind it up. In season 9, they were making swords and ropes and going all Palpatine
I’ve been thinking about episode 5 of X-Men every day since it’s release. That would not have happened if every episode dropped at once.
In other words, he’s 100% right
'Scott Pilgrim Takes Off' creator says Netflix releasing all episodes at once is 'the dumbest shit ever'
"There's literally no upside. Imagine if the whole season of X-Men 97 was out"
The way The Marvels split the screen into comic panels to show all 3 Marvels on screen at once is SO FUCKING GOOD and SO FUCKING COMIC BOOKY, this movie is hella underrated, I’m telling you
Nelson Peltz, the activist investor trying to win two Disney board seats, questions Kevin Feige’s records:
“Why do I have to have a Marvel [film] that’s all women? Not that I have anything against women, but why do I have to do that? Why can’t I have Marvels that are both? Why…
Marvel Studios is reportedly trying to take less risks and focusing on more guaranteed hits.
Movies like 'CAPTAIN MARVEL 3' or 'ANT-MAN 4' won’t happen.

After all the negative comments I’ve seen about The Marvels today, it is cemented in my mind that the majority of people who don’t like this movie simply can’t handle seeing powerful women lead a project, and that’s sad
I don’t dislike the color grading in Deadpool and Wolverine, but I wanted to tweak it slightly. I feel like some people are overdoing it with the correction, so I wanted mine to be a little simpler. I like how it turned out. It’s mostly just an issue with contrast tbh
@TheBacklogger
Peter’s spider sense is so powerful that it can take control of his body, even when he’s unconscious. Peter can even fight while while unconscious because his spider sense will keep him out of danger. It’s such a cool absolute and I’m surprised they don’t use it more
Easily The Marvels. There was a movie that came out this year that resurrected dead actors to flaunt them around as “honoring the DC universe”, but people have the audacity to call The Marvels the worst movie of the year, or even of all time.
HC: I am going to disobey everything Tony tells me to do because I know I can do more.
FFH: I’m not the next iron man and I’m sick of people telling me that I am.
NWH: If there’s a chance I can help people, I need to take it.
Civil War: I need Mr. Stark to think I’m cool!
I seriously don’t think people realize just how much the “iron boy jr” shit with MCU Spider-Man actually stems from Civil War and not any of Peter’s solo films. Y’all claim MCU Spider-Man is Iron Man’s lapdog who is constantly seeking validation from Mr. Stark, that’s Civil War
If they put Cyborg in the team, you already KNOW the cultists are gonna call it a downgrade from the JL to the TT and claim Gunn is racist or something for “demoting” Cyborg
Speaking of CW Spider-Man…
That whole Venom arc sucked. Yeah he was a cool big CGI monster but they blew all their budget on it so the whole arc was rushed. It was Harry, not Eddie, and Venom wanted to take over the world like wtf???? Barely felt like the character.
I will never understand how this scene became one of the most hated scenes in a Spider-Man movie. I saw someone say it feels like Twitter spun a wheel and picked a Spider-Man movie to hate at random and that feels like it’s the case more and more each day
Tom really is a great actor. He has no lines here, yet you know exactly what he’s thinking. And it’s so in character for Spider-Man. He’s happy at first, but he realizes how much responsibility it is and takes it seriously. All this is conveyed in a head nod. Brilliant!
Very few things have been flanderized to the degree that Marvel movies have been in recent years. The idea people have of Marvel movies in their heads is nothing like what actual Marvel movies are
Imma be real.
This is Marvel movie writing in a nutshell. You can't have serious epic moments without attempts at funny quips between characters for a few seconds. There's a reason it became a meme.
Anything new when the thing goes 10 seconds without a joke:
Get Em Zack 🖤
“Not to compare. If you look at avengers they trash newyork city and no one even mentions the fact that there are thousands of people dying”.
So he sighed in knowing he was Ralph? And he thought the joke was funny? Yeah, they didn’t do him dirty, he chose to play Ralph Bohner. If he didn’t like the idea, he wouldn’t have signed on
Evan Peters reveals his reaction to being Ralph Bohner in ‘WANDAVISION’.
“I started hysterically laughing because I had no idea that my last name was Bohner. I knew that from the beginning that he was Ralph & he was being controlled by the witch.”

People who complain about Kate Bishop beating Kingpin “so easily” seem to fail to remember that she used A TON OF FUCKING EXPLOSIVES, something Matt never tried
Just for fun today, I wanted to see if I could colorize the black Superman suit. I didn’t know if my editing skills were good enough to do it. I think it turned out pretty good. (This was just for fun, I love the black suit. This isn’t an attack on Zack Snyder)
@fanvax_
I’m one of the people who like the Venom movies, so when this happened, I was super hyped. Then NWH’s post credit scene happened and I was kinda pissed
Iman Vellani says she would "never say no" to voicing Ms. Marvel in a video game.
"Any opportunity to play Ms. Marvel or project myself into her in any version, comic book movie, otherwise, I'll be happy to."

The Marvels made that much without being able to do any marketing and coming out at a time where general audiences are getting tired of comic book movies, Dark Phoenix barley beat it at a time where comic book movies were at their peak of popularity and with the ability to market
These are my two favorite adaptations of my two favorite characters of all time. Barry isn’t the problem with the show and his characterization usually isn’t far off from the comics. MCU Spider-Man is very comic accurate. Neither of the f*** up the character imo
The best part of Spider-Man’s history in live action is that we’ve never had an adaptation afraid of giving him a colorful costume. Not a single movie. Can’t say the same about the X-Men and the Fantastic Four
