Lmfao FNAF is literally baby horror. Stop pretending like it doesn’t have middle schoolers constantly obsessing over it. Back in 2014 I played it and it was never scary. Sonic 3 doesn’t have people going “but it’s made for fans” because it’s not lackluster like the FNAF movies.

People pushing back on Kraven’s inclusion probably saw the lion mutation and assumed that was all they can extrapolate from the character. Forgetting the fact that Kraven’s core motivation in SSM is just like the comics, whereas Kraven in TAS is a major departure.

If Kraven’s Last Hunt told you anything, it’s that Kraven’s obsession with hunting is all he had to live for. So why act like SSM is a big departure when they actually abided by this driving motivation while TAS had Kraven’s obsession with hunting come to an end with a cure?

Claiming TAS Kraven is more accurate is factually incorrect. He has no obsession with hunting Spider-Man and his villainous side can be cured. In SSM Kraven maintains his obsession with hunting Spider-Man, and people think he’s inaccurate just because he gave himself powers.

SSM giving Kraven powers that would be within his character to gain doesn’t change the fact that Kraven’s obsession with hunting Spider-Man is his driving motivation, which is not true for TAS. In TAS he literally teams with Punisher to help Spider-Man get cured and saved.

Quick, tell me why Kraven even went to NY to begin with and what he said after losing. Next, tell me which adaptation had Kraven go to NY for the hunt and end with him vowing to hunt Spider-Man, and which one had Kraven go to NY for his GF and ended with his evil being cured.

Spectacular Spider-Man is superior. The animation is more finished and doesn’t reuse footage repeatedly. The pacing isn’t obviously rushed like Spider-Man TAS. The technical drawbacks are too glaring to make the show better than Spectacular Spider-Man.

That’s not in the original story. And when it manifests again later in ASM 44 Curt is shown to be against the change, it was against his will. Curt does not deliberately cause violence. If a retcon says otherwise then the retcon is stupid.
