Why would Eze start over Odegaard this season that would be stupid, it just means we go back to having a black hole LW so how would we have actually improved. Clearly they would play together, and it'll also highlight the importance of a playmaker like Odegaard who helps build up.
Flabbergasted at some fans thinking Eze is joining to play 10. he isn’t starting over Ødegaard. He’ll play LW. Where do you think Eze will play?.

In this new shape we saw against Bilbao and United, with Havertz injury Martinelli would actually be better suited to the Gyokeres role, whilst Trossard would be more suited to that inside left role we would have Eze in. Gyokeres/Martinelli - Saka/Noni.Eze/Trossard - Ode/Nwaneri.
🙌🏻 Every word here is key for Eze’s usage. One of my ideal targets for the new system!

Players settling for “gentleman’s agreements” and then getting mad the club doesn’t want to sell them is just silly stuff man. I don’t know how people can say in good faith Newcastle have done anything wrong with Isak. He’s just a clown.

Isak is 25, his time at Newcastle is irrelevant to what he can to on to achieve once he leaves, nobody cares about a bunch of fans burning your t-shirt. Clubs will alway throw the players to the Wolves and put their hands behind their back. Glad Isak called them out for it.

Spent our left winger budget on a backup right winger, and then instead of "selling to buy" as they claimed, we give the backup player they claimed they would sell to buy a starting winger improved wages. Most likely making it even more difficult to sell him. Fantastic business.

Odegaard can't be the only playmaker we have centrally who is trusted, fans will mention Nwaneri/Dowman, but when the chips are down Arteta ain't bringing them on (rightly so too), we saw that last season. It's why missing out on Eze is such a massive shame without an alternative.
You can argue our poor Old Trafford performance is an anomaly, but what is NOT an anomaly is Odegaard's diabolical final ball from RCM zones. The frequency of these failed final 3rd actions are too high for it to be ignored. Final ball is 3x better from LCM zones.

Next captain man. Gabriel treated Gyokeres like he had some personal issue with him, even mocking his celebration that people thought he didn't rate him. Only to be repping him soon as he signed.
Gabriel says “and I took that personally” every time he faces a hyped CF 😭 This is Barclays heritage.
