Our latest paper on neuronal resilience. The apoptotic pathway is activated as a transient pulse in neurons even with continuous apoptotic stimulus. Neurons prepare for survival even when they activate apoptotic signaling. Congrats Keeley and others!! https://t.co/wWw29m6rrU

In a new paper in @commsbio, researchers have shown that a small RNA molecule drives the natural process of aging. This is the first time that miR-29 has been proven to play a direct role in the aging process. @UNC_CBP | @uncneuro | @cornellvet

Nothing more satisfying than going back to the college St. Xavier’s Mumbai @sxcbom that inspired you to be a scientist. It’s been 40 years - but feels like home. Wonderful students and awesome faculty in Life Sciences/Biochem. Teachers inspire. Every day. Thank you!
