Maine 4th graders posted the worst declines in NAEP reading scores of any state from 2019 to 2024. So I wrote a piece in the @PressHerald about what we can do about it:

Breaks my heart. Every kid deserves to be loved and accepted for exactly who they are by the adults in their life and the community around them.
