Minor correction from my @SocietyMelanoma talk. The exact mechanisms of CDS1 silencing in uveal is unknown. It is likely mediated by ZEB1 as shown by @d_peeper and Tim Arnoldus in other cancers. CDS1 methylation also occurs in some cancers but the exact mechanism in uveal is 🤷?
