Yes. There’s no great change signalled here, in my view.
Reading the Curriculum & Assessment Review more carefully, I'm struck by how much the word 'mastery' comes up & how deeply embedded it is in the thinking. Yet 'mastery' & the sequential building up of 'foundational' knowledge upon which all else rests, is a highly questionable 1/.
