Today seems like a good day to recall that, over the course of 10 years of sequestration, Congress abided by those budget numbers for one year.

Ken was a wonderful colleague and an exceptional teacher and scholar. It's a very sad time for all of us at BC and we'll miss him terribly. https://t.co/uO5LXVSWf1

"The Washington bias is that every problem can be solved with a new ad or a new message or a new sort of consultant strategy. And our bias as academics is we’re all floating little specks of dust in this great wind of historical change." @DaveAHopkins says https://t.co/tEkyJJTxWZ

If Harris somehow pulls out NV but loses the rest of the swing states, we'll wind up with an exact replica of the 2016 electoral college map in 2024: https://t.co/3r9VeE2gYz

Smooth sailing for @KellyAyotte so far: (1) Harris putting up decent numbers, not great, so not a big Trump undertow. (2) Ayotte outpolling Trump by several points.

Even if they're right about this, Puerto Ricans and college students are a small part of the electorate in every swing state. Election will much more likely be won or lost on the suburban swing vote: https://t.co/FuPFuUMARm
Harris campaign is saying they are feeling very good about the turnout numbers, in particular: -High Puerto Rican turnout in Philly -High enthusiasm among college students including in WI, in PA at Lehigh, Lafayette, & Temple, in NC at Appalachian State, & in NV at UNR and UNLV

There’s clearly been a partisan vibe shift, but this is also like the third vibe shift in a month with basically similar toss up polling. Was already picking up before the Selzer poll. Nobody knows anything!
There’s been a mood shift in recent days. Democrats who have been calling me panicked in recent weeks are now feeling very optimistic about tomorrow.

Closing Harris ad is right out of Obama '08 playbook: (1) message of national unity (2) new generation of candidate as a way to move past old divisiveness (3) explicit focus on economic concerns, with social change invoked more indirectly/symbolically https://t.co/mWZ0kedU3e
I’m asking for your vote because as president, I will get up every day and fight for the American people.
