When we say Datatag is for the life of the vehicle we really mean it! .Yesterday @EssexPoliceUK located a 1993 Yamaha XJ600S following a pursuit. It was stolen 24 years ago!.Ground VIN & altered engine # but the true ID established with @DatatagID system. #BetterLateThanNever

The counterfeit ID on this stolen Polaris didn’t fool the expert eye of @LincsRuralCrime & @NCATT_UKPolice & thanks to @CESARscheme it’s true ID was easily established using our free police app #RAPID. You too (if police) can have the power of #RAPID just email plt@datatag.co.uk

The PLT remotely ID’d a seized quad for @BasingstokeCops this morning. Confirmed as stolen & subject to an @nfum payout. All before my first cup of coffee!

Last week the PLT assisted @WMPolice @Traffwmp with a multi agency road side op. Nil of note for us (in terms of stolen vehicles/ plant) on this occasion but plenty to keep @DVSAEnforcement busy and some questionable uses of sellotape!

Today PLT supported @TVP_RuralCrime when they were challenged to find the insurer of a recovered caravan. Just one call to PLT was sufficient to resolve the matter - insurer now dealing!. The PLT freely supports police & never seeks finders fees/ commission etc. #HereToHelp

This stolen Bomag roller was located in the back of a stolen van by @gmptraffic . @NCATT_UKPolice contacted the registered owner held on @CESARscheme which was easily established following a #RAPID check. The owner wasn’t even aware it had been stolen!
