@Hertz says it’s because their power is out. “Nothing we could do” There is something you can do. Just like I have in my *home*. Backup batteries. Failover internet connection. Assign more that two people to process rentals. Let me call an Uber here. Nope, none of that.

Why oh why do I rent from #Hertz at LAX. This is the line for Gold. No preassigned cars and we can’t just pick from the Presidents Circle lane. They have staff here who aren’t wanting to talk to us.

In 2016 when Xero moved from RackSpace to AWS we migrated just under 60 billion rows in our SQLServer databases. In 2020 our core database had 400 billion rows of data. Earlier this month, our core database ticked over 1.4 trillion rows of data.
