The way we measure success in education needs to change. Very pleased to see this announcement that rebalances our priorities towards gold-standard apprenticeships. Technical routes deserve to be treated with the same respect as university.

Reading for pleasure is so important to giving every child the best start in life. But 1 in 7 primary schools in the UK don't have access to a library, rising to 1 in 4 in the most deprived areas. Labour will put this right.

Reform are not on the side of workers.

Today, Labour is one step closer to delivering the biggest upgrade to workers’ rights in a generation.

Labour's New Deal for Working People is a step closer tonight, as Labour MPs stand together to vote down Tory and Lib Dem attacks on the Employment Rights Bill. The Tories and Reform have voted against the Bill at every opportunity, and the Lib Dems have tried to water it down.

The introduction of the Hillsborough Law to Parliament is a monumental step forward in ensuring that truth and justice can never be concealed by the state again. What a legacy for the 97 and all the families and campaigners who fought so hard for so long.
