You can go from 30k-50k but your quality of living won’t even really go up. At 50k you still can’t comfortably rent a 1 bed in London by yourself. The only people that are thriving in this country are criminals and politicians .

Your examples are so flawed. £1.3k in Croydon. Zone 5/6. You forgot to factor in the two hybrid days into the office to zone 1. Council tax on average cost around £120 in Croydon using the examples you have supplied. What about bills? What about savings? Student loan repayments?
