I can't fathom this. A woman killed an 8 year old girl and put her body in a hockey bag. Her poor body showed signs of chronic abuse: broken bones that had healed without treatment, and sepsis from a broken tooth. The crown is only asking for 9 years. Imagine being a police

@sarobertsonca Hey, @Dave_Eby I'm actually quite angry that the shooter was known to police, had several house calls re mental health issues, weapons had been removed from the shooters home and NONE OF THAT was taken seriously enough to prevent the tragedy. Yet you imply an AI company calling

New piece at the Hub! I drill into the numbers to show that GDP per capita is overstating Canada's quality of life, and a variety of other indicators show that we're falling behind our global peers... fast. We're too complacent, and it's costing us. https://t.co/LEdEiEjSPs

National security nightmare. - Canada is now the source of 80pc of the known watchlist terrorists interdicted in the USA the past three years now. - More than 1000 known terrorists were captured on American soil from Canada residency/citizenship/origin the past three years.

For years several Ontario & BC community colleges ran a massive scam to monetize student visas. In broad daylight. The federal government did its part by giving full time work permits (!) even to foreign “students” enrolled at dodgy diploma mills. Some provinces allowed
… in case there was any doubt Conestoga College and its student recruiter @ApplyBoard were selling immigration, not education (link: https://t.co/iPxs4VT3kG).

For all of those losing their minds over Canadian Conservatives calling for the prompt deportation of convicted foreign criminals: it’s the policy of the Swedish socialist government, for goodness sake. Sometimes I’m astonished by how much of the Canadian commentariat can ramp

The Middle East conflict 101: UN in 1947: “Here is a state for you, the Jews, and here is a state for you, the Arabs.” The Jews: “Awesome. Thanks. We’ve only been waiting for this for thousands of years.” The Arabs: “Sorry no. We’d rather attack than have a state. We don’t

I’m Canadian. I vote in Canada. I don’t get a ballot in the U.S. Whether you love Trump or hate him is irrelevant to this point: our economic problems existed long before tariffs. That should be the only thing dominating headlines. Housing didn’t collapse because of Trump.

Don't let the CBC Boomers gaslight you. This Government blew up an immigration system that was the 'envy' of the world. It'll take at least another 8 to 10 years to work our way through this.

Canadas asylum fraud 300,000 ‘asylum’ seekers is overt fraud. It was 16,000 in 2015 when the system had controls and interviews. Allowing this to happen opens the entire system to uncontrolled theft - and swamps and destroys the hopes of real refugees seeking asylum in
'As of the most recent count by the Immigration and Refugee Board, there were 299,614 foreign nationals in Canada waiting for their refugee claim to be reviewed. This is larger than the entire population of either Saskatoon, Sask., or Windsor, Ont' https://t.co/Z8JUOyb4XZ

It seems really obvious in hindsight, but Canada's long era of good feelings on immigration came about precisely because newcomers weren't pulling down generous state benefits forbidden to taxpayers. The exact opposite, actually.
I’ve worked and paid taxes in Canada since I was a teenager. My family has no dental, vision, or prescription drug plan. Last year I paid over $7,000 out of pocket for these services. Why do illegal migrants get VIP treatment while I get tax audits and called privileged?

🇨🇦 Every Canadian should read this twice: 🇨🇦 Canada ranks — 🥇 1st in uranium 🥇 1st in potash 🥈 2nd in nickel 🥉 3rd in oil 🏅 5th in gold 💧 1st in freshwater Countries start wars for LESS than this. And somehow we are told we’re too poor to cut taxes, too broke to build

@politicalham Now you’re being intellectually dishonest. The problem isn’t a carbon price. It’s a carbon price of $130/tonne, which puts most production on the wrong side of competitiveness. Current TIER is widely accepted.

@JimboStanford @IRPP As an economist you know that GDP per capita and GDP in general have .1 correlation coefficient with nearly every metric that people propose. GDP per capita is the right score card, and academic “well actually” is unnecessary

One of the battiest oped pieces I’ve seen. Here’s the author’s recipe for defending Canada from Trump 1) denounce ourselves as settler colonialists 2) bring in millions MORE settler-colonial immigrants to build weapons 3) then deploy them to fight “house to house” vs US soldiers

This government astronomically ballooned the Canadian population through massive, uncontrolled immigration. Simultaneously, they indoctrinated everyone, from newly arrived terror supporters to 6th grneration Canadians, that Canada is a worthless, genocidal, illegitimate colony,
💥REPORT: Immigration Canada is introducing a new express entry pathway for highly TRAINED FOREIGN MILITARY PERSONNEL. So our Government is going to give people who don't want to assimilate into Canadian culture high-powered weapons.

You realize that the same pro-terror people screaming “Death to Israel” are also chanting “Death to Canada,” correct? How does that sound to you? It sounds like a direct threat to our civil society to me. No one needs to do anything for me to realize there is a common danger.
@RealAndyLeeShow @TomTSEC What did they do to you over in Isreal? Blink twice if they threatened you.
