FiDo (First-In-Dog) Cure Cancer Initiative is a unique cross-disciplinary collaboration at the University of Adelaide testing the efficacy of androgen receptor (AR) agonist and estrogen receptor (ER) antagonist treatments in companion dogs with ER+ mammary cancers.
EXCLUSIVE: In an Australian first, SA researchers are investigating if a breakthrough new treatment being trialled by breast cancer patients could potentially cure dogs too. The dual hormone therapy implant aims to shrink the tumours. @AKunowski #7NEWS
