I think it's worth mentioning in the aftermath of ACU's win over Texas that it took Joe Golding eight years to achieve his first winning season at ACU. Including that season, they've gone 71-22 with two NCAA tournament appearances since. Patience is a virtue. Let coaches build.

The restaurants don't include that in the price because they don't want to scare off cheap customers. They're going to get their money either way. It's the service worker who gets screwed.
Not tipping only hurts the person who took the time and made the effort to serve you.

These are the words of a coach who has gotten too comfortable with state trips. And who would appear to have lost both the joy and call of coaching.
For most, a chance to play for a title is an honor and a privilege. For him, it's truly just a business trip. And that's sad.
Refugio Coach Jason Herring isn't a fan of having the state championships in Arlington every year and his team got two practices compared to Hawley's three.
Says his team came out flat and out of its routine after committing four turnovers in the title game loss.

The Rangers got a combined 14 starts out of Jacob deGrom and Max Scherzer, finished the season with a 3 1/2-man rotation and have by far the worst bullpen in the sport.
Those disappointed that the team only won 90 games and made the playoffs as a wild card need to chill.

Both Abilene High and Cooper played Thursday bi-district games in El Paso after closing their regular seasons on a Friday. Neither coach whined about travel or practice routines. Both talked about what a great opportunity it was for their teams.
