10/15 Dr. @tamara_tate of @UCIrvine leads the @DLL_UCI’s work on digital & online tools to support teaching & learning. Current research involving generative AI includes a comparison of human & AI scoring & feedback, & use within K-12 & undergrad classrooms to improve writing.

9/15 Dr. @EBMoje of @UMichEducation teaches courses in secondary and adolescent literacy, cultural theory, and research methods. Her research examines young people’s culture, identity, and literacy learning in and out of school in Detroit, Michigan.

8/15 Dr. @s_r_levine of @stanford studies the links between in- and out-of-school interpretive practices in language arts teaching and learning, as well as ways that AI and digital media can be used as frameworks for teaching reading and writing to middle & high school students.

7/15 Dr. Qian Du of @UCIrvine teaches academic writing, reading, & oral communication courses for multilingual postsecondary students. She researches English for academic purposes, second language writing, intercultural rhetoric, reading-writing connections, & teacher education.

6/15 Dr. @ddemszky of @StanfordEd focuses on measuring equity, representation, and student-centeredness in educational texts. She develops measures based on natural language processing and applies these measures to provide feedback to educators.

4/15 Dr. @cindymayberger of @duolingo is Lead Learning Scientist/Senior Learning and Curriculum Manager. She currently co-leads pedagogical and creative content creation for Duolingo Stories and manages discourse-level content development across Duolingo features.
