.@NWS_BaltWash has issued a Flash Flood Warning for the District of Columbia until 8:45PM. At 5:44 PM, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain will move across DC area. Expected rainfall rates of 1 to 2 inches in 20 minutes are anticipated.

April 26th, 2025 is a historic moment for DC as the new DC LGBTQ+ Community Center is officially open! 🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️ Located at 1828 Wiltberger Street, NW, the new location of this community resource will be a safe space with dedicated programming for the LGBTQIA+ community.
