But striking the right balance between accuracy and accessibility when communicating is really tricky. Each engagement demands different timing, caters to different audiences, and allows different levels of depth. And I'm definitely trying to get better at it all!

Iâve always admired researchers who can communicate clearly, engagingly, and charmingly because I care deeply about producing knowledge thatâs accessible and not just for the books. Our repository at Data Workers' Inquiry is a testimony of that:

These past few weeks, Iâve done a lot of public engagement, and itâs reminded me how hard science communication can be!

"âAI isnât magic; itâs a pyramid scheme of human labor,â said @AdioDinika , a researcher at the Distributed AI Research Institute based in Bremen, Germany. âThese raters are the middle rung: invisible, essential and expendable.â https://t.co/kToWqZHjgF

Thanks for your TED Talk, Mkoma â or should I say, your well-written techno-doom fable. đ
Your narrative is built on hype, hallucination, and the erasure of labor. I donât pay Elon to tweet, so hereâs my response in a thread. Spoiler: I disagree entirely. Letâs begin. đ§”
Ai is now smarter and faster at most intellectual tasks than humans. By end of the year it will many percent smarter. We think we will be able to control it. Itâs like dogs thinking they can control humans. There is no precedent of a smarter entity being subservient to less
