In our recent work @PlantBiotechJ we show that the 5´UTR of a gene can be edited for improved trait in potato #lowacrylamid. Fruitful collaboration with CRA-W and Max Rubner-Institut. #EAPR14 #CRISPR

🌅Delighted to share a paper that spanned the start of not one but TWO labs, now out in @ScienceAdvances. With @LabUhrig we discovered that plants sense the duration of TWILIGHT via their clock genes LHY/CCA1! A 🧵on what this really means: https://t.co/Mevo5CZ8hs

The duration of twilight modulates plant growth and flowering time through the circadian clock.
