105 years ago today in Croke Park, Tipperary took on Dublin before a capacity crowd. Suddenly, at 3:25pm, armoured cars and trucks containing rabid Black and Tans, British Auxiliaries, and RIC surrounded the stadium. Without warning they stormed the grounds, opening fire

@JohnnyBurns1 @bjacollins @irishborderpoll @IrelandsFuture @LuathPress An all island healthcare system just makes sense. Equalisation of pay rates will stop the brain drain from North to South, and the removal of service duplication and economies of scale means more money for coal face services. Good to see this is being discussed.

@McCartneyJoseph @think__32 Yes, we just need all, whoever they may be, to support the reunification of Ireland now, in the face of England hanging on to the 6 counties "just because they can." Partition was a mistake. Partition failed. Partition is still failing. Don't avoid the fact NI is communally ill.

We need Irish reunification in order to improve health and housing. The north has 3 times the south's homeless population with only 40% of it's population. The HSE outperforms the NHS. The south is ahead on education at 1st, 2nd & 3rd level. We need Unity!

The astonishing lack of basic generosity and respect displayed by parts of unionism/loyalism towards Irish citizens in the North is both poor political strategy and woefully ill-advised.

The scene in the Knesset with Trump is like watching the inverse of a war crimes tribunal. The leaders and facilitators of the Gaza genocide are congratulating each other and applauding their crimes.
