And it's not like we can count on our elected officials. One Rep's VA liaison decided to work with the VA to reduce and deny my husband's benefits. When we called him out on it, he shifted instead to acting like he didn't know how to research basic information or read the info
@Winston_Wolfe @SecVetAffairs @DeptVetAffairs THIS!!!! 🎯 My husband has reached out numerous times to the VA (went all the way up the chain to the Undersecretary for Benefits and OIG) to highlight program mismanagement, disability discrimination, employees not abiding by the law and their own agency manual, as well as

The complexity is not necessarily the issue. The REAL issue is that the VA employs people who care more about protecting themselves and virtue-signal their stewardship of taxpayer dollars than applying the law as it is written and how the programs and benefits were intended to
If Veterans are having to get help from someone else just to apply for @DeptVetAffairs benefits, that means our system is too complicated. Under President Trump, we’re making sure Veterans get what they’ve earned and working to ensure the process is fair, honest and fast.

Additionally, in the South, black folks and rural white folks have had far more in common than they don't. This is a distinct part of American history that is largely ignored and brushed under the table, but rural whites, freed and fugitive black slaves have had these
@jeffcharlesjr I think that might be because whites and blacks interact more regularly in the south. Whites there don’t get all their info on blacks from online videos.

I've lived in Europe, the South, the Midwest, the East Coast, and now in the PNW. I have experienced far more racism, or at least some sort of prejudice, here in the PNW than I did in any other place I've lived before. Most of the prejudices, ironically, have come from
"I'm a white woman that has lived in a red state my entire life, and I can tell you when I'm around white people, they test the racist water. They test it on people like you all, all the time." Jennifer Welch baselessly accuses all white people in red states of being racist.

NEW: Georgia high school quarterback gives his homecoming crown to the team's top fan, a boy with Down Syndrome. Roswell quarterback Trey Smith (@_treysmith1) was seen putting his crown on the head of senior Jake Jeffries. Jeffries never missed a football game in the four years

Alternatively, "Black political power" that is assumed to be directly tied to being a Democrat/Progressive is actually viewpoint discrimination towards Black Republicans, Libertarians, Independents, etc. (basically anyone who is black and not a Democrat).
@RepPressley If your district is designed to favor Black political power, it necessarily discriminates against anyone in that district that is white or some other race or ethnicity. Does that model still work in 2025?

Why is that? Because all Black people must vote Democrat to hold "Black political power?" Because if we don't vote Democrat, especially a Black Democrat, then we are not Black and therefore hold no "Black political power." Seriously, y'all?!
We’re witnessing a coordinated Republican assault on Black political power—from attacks on the Voting Rights Act to redistricting Black & brown leaders out of their seats. The Supreme Court must uphold the VRA & defend the sacred right to vote. Our democracy depends on it.

Sure, kids say stupid things. Adults say stupid things, too. Both are ok. The problem is when we selectively decide what is "just" a couple of kids being stupid and saying vulgar things in a chat versus what is a "real issue" that needs to be addressed. Especially because
Vance on public outrage over the "I love Hitler" group chat: "Grow up! Focus on the real issues. Don't focus on what kids say in group chats... The reality is that kids do stupid things, especially young boys — they tell edgy, offensive jokes. That's what kids do."

🎯 Also, social penalties holding more weight than legal penalties for actual crimes is such a Marxist argument.
It's literally illegal to murder any person, white or otherwise. People call for the death penalty for those who murder. Get this retarded victimhood nonsense outta here. You're not being oppressed because people don't like you using the "N-word."

Clarification: I don't care if folks talk about race. I care about data. I care about using and interpreting data correctly. I care about people misusing and overly generalizing bits and pieces of data while passing it off as fact.
Some Republican and Conservative social media pundits on X hate to talk about race ... until there's an alleged gang-related shooting anywhere in the U.S. Then, all they can talk about is the race and skin color of the perpetrator. ----- Alternatively, Democrats and

@aimeereinerhd39 @FadingFreedoms @GovTinaKotek Oregon's low Special Education Spending cap (at 11%) creates an environment that leaves districts with even less money and resources to support students who are legally required to be supported. https://t.co/NDLbp7Qt4J

@Oregon_GOP @ORDems Oregon doesn't have the money to support students, reduce classroom sizes, fully fund special education beyond the 11% cap, reduce disability caseworker load to a 30:1 ratio, create an independent oversight body to study restraint and seclusion in schools -
