We understand. But we also understand he was a top level racist and that is far more important to his legacy than his star power as a wrestler.
One thing I've noticed with the passing of Hulk Hogan is a generational divide. I'm not sure anyone under 40 understands how big a star he was from 1985-1988 and how recognizable he was to the general public. A household celebrity in a way very few athletes are today.
