Number of new homes in England fell during Labour's first year in office, although applications rose over the past six months. A large proportion of applications were NOT in London - which is failing manifestly to build what is needed.

Bring back Urban Capacity Studies. They looked for all opportunities. Brownfield Registers are too limited, not proactive, are unambitious at best, and stifle development at worst.
