This is an excellent suggestion. 👏 .Well said @pauldezylva.The government’s recent rhetoric on nature, and especially about those who seek to protect it, is untrue, adversarial, and downright rude!.
MPs should use the holidays to reconnect with nature.✍️ @pauldezylva .

Number of new homes in England fell during Labour's first year in office, although applications rose over the past six months. A large proportion of applications were NOT in London - which is failing manifestly to build what is needed.

Bring back Urban Capacity Studies. They looked for all opportunities. Brownfield Registers are too limited, not proactive, are unambitious at best, and stifle development at worst.
The government plans to build 40,000 homes on brownfield land in 10 years, but there’s space for 1.2 million. We back a brownfield-first approach, but it must deliver truly affordable & social housing, not just starter homes.
