The problem is not so much that the fans are banned - it's more that the team itself is not banned.
Last week I was attacked for pointing out that parts of Birmingham were a failure of integration. But now Israeli football fans are banned from watching their team play at Villa Park as the police can’t guarantee their safety. Maybe I wasn’t wrong after all.

Odd to hear Ed Davey saying that Liberal Democrats will vote to oppose a Scottish independence referendum. It seems a basic tenet of liberalism that those affected should be the one to make the decisions based on their future. Lib Dems in increasingly strange incoherent knots.

"BBC Scotland is not reporting the results" Even when they are the topic of the news, the UK state news agency in Scotland is simply unable to report faithfully.
Only 39% of Scottish respondents to a BBC survey believe that the BBC is independent of the UK Govt of the day. In other words, most believe the BBC is politically biased. Not surprisingly, BBC Scotland isn't reporting the survey results.

@AnasSarwar is meant to be a Glasgow MSP but you’d be hard pushed to know it. Every year, budget consultations tell us Glaswegians would like to see folk from outside the city who use Glasgow’s services make a contribution to their cost. Why is it ok for London but not Glasgow?
