Dear Perfect Game stop with the Wood Bat Tournaments. There is no reason 8th and 9th graders or any high school kids for that matter need to swing wood bats. Don’t colleges swing BBCOR, stop trying to speed up the game!.

Looks like runner at 2nd didn’t touch 3rd, but INF was up so it probably means there were less than 2 outs so even if they appealed it that would at most be out number 2.

Something I found interesting when I was scouting for a team this weekend. Lineup looked like this:. 1. 3.1 P/PA.2. 4.6 P/PA.3. 4.1 P/PA.4. 2.9 P/PA.5. 3.4 P/PA.6. 3.9 P/PA.7. 4.01 P/PA.8. 3.98 P/PA.9. 2.7 P/PA. This was through 12 games. Typically, I see leadoff hitters and 9.

Wolfepack Scouting got a DM this AM to help with a local team in their tourney (16u) because there were a bunch of out of towners coming. We sent over scouting reports by end of lunch to give them a few days to strategize 🙂.

When a season ends it’s never easy. You go from being with these boys from September thru June to it just being over. I love our squad and am so proud of them especially the seniors, but this was a tough one.

-How aggressive their hitters were (swings before seeing a strike). The results - A playoff win (they were the better team on paper full disclosure), and more confidence with defense position and how to attack their hitters. This was a fun one to help!.

What they wanted - They wanted a full scouting report on each hitter including spray charts. What we gave them:.-Spray Charts with what they did against every team.-Normal Stats (BA, RBI, XBH, SB, etc.).-Counts that they stole in.-P/PA.-Bunt attempts.

How Wolfepack Scouting helped a high school team prepare for a state playoff game:. Background - They had never played this team before and they were facing a pitcher that had only thrown 2 innings all year. The head coach got little insight from other teams on their hitters.
