Can totally relate to this! My dad even got me a pair of flip-down shades to wear just like Ryno did!.
In my bedroom as a kid, I had a Ryne Sandberg 'Ryno' poster plastered on my wall. As a Little League second baseman, I idolized him -- worshipped him. Collected his cards, wore No. 23 Cubs gear and played with his signature glove. RIP, Ryno. Forever one my favorites.

I knew this day was coming with how much his name was in the news lately, but it doesn't make it any easier. I wanted to be just like him as a 6-12 year old kid, all the way down to the flip shades and all! #RIP.
