⚾️ Hey baseball players. It’s the off-season. Don’t be an idiot, go lift. I promise going from 140lbs to 160lbs won’t “ruin your swing.”

2026 RHP @BellanCrew had a phenomenal junior year for @USbsbl. In 50 innings he went 6-2 w/57 K's, a 1.419 ERA & a .127 BAA. 6'3" & 195 - great frame. Has been up to 88. Looking to study construction management at the next level. Very bright future for Crew! @OEBbaseball
Btw: after talking with Coach Rob McNerney, it is official, Crew Bellan threw a NO-HITTER!!! @USbsbl

There used to be a list outside the locker room telling you if you made the team or not and if you went home to complain your parents said go outside and do something about it.

We teach kids, less than 2 outs, the lead at 3B can’t be huge because we don’t want to get doubled up. I’d get a little extra with a Lefty, but not much. How about don’t hit a ground ball in this situation? 🤷🏻♂️
Didn't realize that all it took to trigger people was a short lead at third. Can't imagine what a game tying HR in the ninth did to these people. Also, I didn't realize so many people played in a World Series with ice water in their veins and always have the right answer. Cool

Exposure is a buzzword. Your 14 year old doesn’t need exposure he needs calories and the gym and a good instructor. You don’t need to expose that your kid runs a 7.5 and throws 73. Once he’s 16 or 17 make a list of 5-10 schools you’re interested in, has your desired major, and

Starter or role player. Varsity or JV. Practice, scrimmage, or game. Exhibition or playoffs. Doesn’t matter. The mindset never changes: Prepare. Compete. Dominate. Circumstances don’t dictate your standard or your preparation, your habits, and your mindset do. Every. Single. Day.

🚨 Sean Casey’s Mental Approach • It’s “Me Versus the Ball” not “Me Versus the Pitcher” • Hunt middle away, adjust/fight off the inside pitch • Breath to turn on your vision & focus ⭐️ The ball always has to cross YOUR plate to get YOU out! https://t.co/Lg3ktXBQjM

A big theme this year for all of my hitters will be “where is my contact zone”. Every hitter is physically different. Understanding where they make optimal contact is the focus this off season. Build the best swing for a hitters count and adjust as the count changes. Back to work

Some dolt on the radio today said “I hope the Blue Jays win the WS. It shows that the Dodgers payroll can be beat by a small market team” Huh? Blue Jays are 5th in payroll and gave $500 million to Vladdy Jr.

Sorry but there are Cage Hitters and Game Hitters. Some can hit with pressure and some can’t. Exit Velo is great in the Batting Cage when the ball is coming in flat and straight, but mix in a curveball and stuff gets real!

If you are young, give this a listen. You won’t like it, but it’s the truth.

Dodgers have 483 million of starting pitching in the first 2 games of the NLCS. Thats nothing compared to the Guardians re-signing Austin Hedges for 4 million. It’s pays to hit .161 “bUT hE Is a CLuB hOuSe GuY”

This is the way to develop hitters: Front toss and feel good cage bombs are not the answer.
Most hitters ask how to get better under pressure 👇🏼 • Creat win or lose challenges in training • Hit vs game-like reps with velocity + spin + situations • Train in uncomfortable conditions so pressure in game feels normal (Kobe would face 7 on 5 so in game felt much easier)
