This is the problem with travel ball coaches/travel parents being too involved in recruiting decision. Their personal preferences come before best interest of player. So glad you posted this coach!

can you believe this is becoming a huge problem in high school sports. Another result of know it all parents, entitled children and coaches who have lost control. So sad.
Its unfortunate to have to mention we lost another soccer official this week. This veteran official decided to walk away (mid season) from officiating because of the constant verbal harassment from players, coaches and spectators. The culture needs to change!

I quit officiating this year after 25 yrs. I was used to the coaches and parents, it was when the kids started joining them, and the coaches doing nothing about it, that I decided it was time to hang up the whistle.
