You know it’s funny Governor, those states come here every year and meet with the @UIL and @THSCAcoaches to find out how we do things. They want to be like us. Most coaches in those states are not full time employees of the district. You’re wrong again and as a fellow.
School choice will NOT take away funding from Texas high school football. Period. Florida and Arizona have the largest school choice programs and among the best high school football programs in the country. Texas is also one of the only SEC states without school choice.

We did over 18,000 daily screenings this summer in GISD. We had to follow up on 0.007% of them. No positive cases traced to camps, no transmissions traced to camps, no hospitalizations. To remove this is foolish. Athletics provides the structure. 👊 #WeAreSaferTogether.
